Canelo has ballś no doubt about it. Sure, Smith had a lousy outing against Ryder (credit to him as well) but he’s still the top dog at 168 (better opposition than benavidez) without a doubt.

Good fight as long team Canelo don't demand weight advantage

I think it is an easy-ish fight for Nelo. Callum looked duff against Ryder last time out and imo he's far too mechanical to keep Nelo from clubbing him into an early stoppage. I always feel a good fluid fighter will beat a robotic one. Alvarez TKO 10.

Chavez is a Canelo hater now?

Canelo could probably KO Smith with body shots. If Smith fights like he did against Ryder, he's got no chance. I'd like to see Canelo vs Beterbiev. He beat a faded Kovalev, and although Canelo isn't tall, he's a strongly built guy.

This is a good fight for Canelo. Yeah, I thought he lost to Ryder but Smith is young big and powerful, and unlike some will come in shape and give he's all.. Better than a shot Kovalev and an old slow GGG.

Interesting. I see it the exact opposite. I agree with JCC that Smith is a real threat. He's a good boxer, heavy hitter with enormous physical advantages over Canelo. Plant doesn't have a single advantage over Canelo.

Canelo Alvarez will beat himself, with all the weight jumping 'Up and down etc'.

Does Alvarez even know what weight he is fighting at next? He was sparring heavyweights awhile back, was he weighing around 168 pounds during that spar? Alvarez needs to make his mind up, where and what division he is fighting in etc

I agree with this. Paul Williams was also all over the scale. Hard to see how they get any stability out of this.
