Mr. Crawford is making reference to what was said and what occurred leading up to the Lomachenko vs Lopez fight. The fight ended being made because of the fans that asked for it either because they wanted Lomachenko to shut up Lopez or they thought Lopez could beat Lomachenko. The networks provided tons of coverage of the back and forth between the two camps, thus adding to the marketing of the potential match up. Mr. Crawford already stated that he's not about the talk, vut about the action (the fights).

Seriously, is it that hard to put stuff into context and understand the message?!

Fact is, TC don't won't to damage his lil buddy Porter... just because Porter was competitive vs Spence doesn't mean Porter would have a chance vs TC, he wouldn't. Porter would get severely damaged vs TC.... You're beginning to sound like a boxing professor @ Trump University...

This is quite simple

Terence is about the dough. He wants the big fights but he wants the money more. If there is a big enough pot for him to make the money he wants then he'll fight anyone. There is not a big enough pot for him to fight Porter and Garcia. There will be for Pac or Spence. That's why he wants to fight them. He signed back to Top Rank because they showed him more upfront guaranteed dollars. Not because he's afraid of those guys.

As for the PBC guys there is an easy negotiation in house. Lots of fights to be made with top folks. Nobody is afraid of Bud but they want real money to fight him. So there's a standstill.

Terence will have to see Ugas or Porter before Spence. I believe Pac and Spence will happen before Manny vs Bud.

I think best case scenario for boxing is that Spence dominates Danny and Manny fights Mikey. That will force then two to negotiate. I know Errol may have to run back the Porter fight but there would be backlash.

Crawford is right. When the fight was hot, too many accepted the "side of the street" speil from Spence.
Accepted Mikey Garcia while insisting Crawford "prove himself".
Threw up also rans like Danny Garcia while pouring acid on the guy's career.

I can't blame Crawford for saying "screw this" and looking for Pacquiao, especially when Spence himself is also looking for Pacquiao.

This is why I believe you've strike when the iron is hot with these big fights. The guys don't fight often enough to "marinate" as they did in the past and you can't ask people to wait 2,3,4 years.

I don't think Crawford is afraid of any other fighter, nor are any of the fighters in the PBC stable. These guys may price themselves out of a fight but that's different than fear.

Big fights between fighters of different promotions usually don't happen because of greed and pride. Promoters want to keep risk and revenue in-house; Unless a fight is so big that it generates enough profit for everyone to be happy (and even then we get haggling over silly pride issues like who walks out second, etc).

Simple fact is, in a pandemic setting with limited to no live gate revenue, we are even less likely of seeing these fights.

Truth is, Crawford is all about the $$$ and has already said "no pay cut" so it is what it is at this point.
