Is Robert McCracken underrated as a coach?

The way he has guided AJ from 2010 when Sean Murphy sent him to Team GB until now is just amazing. I remember AJ before then and how he's now both as a boxer and as a man and Rob has had a major influence on his life. And even when he was going through his problems outside of the ring - Rob put everything on the line for him. I'd say it's akin to Mike Tyson and Cus. So Rob deserves more credit than he gets.

Rob also turned a limited Carl Froch into a world champion. And British amateur boxing has been enjoying great success since he took over.

I believe he belongs in the hall of fame with the other greats.

He turned a previous GB boxing squad who nobody knew/had limited talent - into world leaders. He definitely is a talent but I think people do recognise it to be honest

I think all coaches at a certain level, have the ability to become great 'If they work with the right Fighter' who is receptive to them.

I personally like the style and psychology of Adam Booth, but Booth only works well with certain fighters in my opinion 'I don't think he would work well with Anthony Joshua'.

Different style of fighters only work well with specific trainers.

I agree with this. Honestly a no name guy who understands boxing could have a few world champs in his stable if you get the right fighters. I'm not taking anything away from great boxing coaches or even McCracken I'm just saying a natural fighter with the right guy pushing them can make an elite team.
