Maybe outside of the top 5. Josh Taylor would wreck him at 140. I doubt he could beat Prograis. Nice win against Loma though

My question is, where do the boxing 'experts' and 'fans' that told me that Bumchenko was going to humiliate Teofimo Lopez, rank the bum now?
That's going to tell me a lot about their bogus criteria and possibly reveal their obsequious bias even more. I'm sure these clowns have been crunching the numbers, brainstorming to veil their political-motives.
I know you journalist needed Bumchenko to be ' That Guy ' to make your books 'Best selling' and profitable, I know you click-bait publishers needed Vasily to win to drive traffic to your domains. The 'Glitch' Teofimo Lopez, crashed your servers, and burned your manuscripts

Had Derev gotten the decision vs GGG (wich would have been possible) you are not gonna put him on the P4P list either.
Same for Fury when he schooled Klit... the list goes on...
It's sport, winning a single match doesn't make you the best.
Sure Teo is the man to beat at 135 now that he has the belts.
There are trilogies in this sport for a reason, because it's not always the same fighter who wins.
If the Clippers beat the Lakers once, doesn't mean they are better and have to be ranked higher.
Loma is there because he beat a bunch of guys through 3 divisions.
Teo need to work his way up, and it's not like he put a shut out on Loma as he seems to think, he was backed up by a midget the second half of the fight.
That being said, I think Teo is the TRUTH, I think he's the most talented guy in boxing, even more talented than Bud.

You should not get dropped from the P4P list with one loss and you should not get on the P4P list with one win.
They all want some Floyds undefeated career.
Most undefeated fighters nowadays never fought anybody or never moved up.

Salido should have been on the p4p list by this standard. Salido beat Loma in Loma's prime, on his way up and in his natural weight. Lopez beat the broke arm, blown up version of Loma. One Hour is right, Loma was never that good, and Lopez has more to prove for his position. 140 is full of sharks, Teofimo won't be lonesome there.

Your not reading his quote properly, he stating that "I BELONGS in the top of five of pound for pound list". That he's appreciative of those who recognize him as such. He didn't say that he's happy to find himself anywhere in the list. Many fans including myself don't think that he's beaten enough top tier fighters, for a continued period of time. He beat Lomachenko by decision. Now he's disrespecting other fighters stating that they haven't done enough to deserve to be matched against him. When he hasn't done enough himself, and no fighter should ever think so highly of themselves. That they think that they can put other fighters down. He has to fight those very fighters that he's disparaging because they're in his division, and are after his titles. Davis, Haney, Garcia, etc, all deserve a shot at his titles, only a fool talks the way he does, as if he makes the rules in boxing. He definitely has skills, and power, but his arrogance will be his undoing.

Trying to be patient with Teo as he is still a kid. However his Ego is running amuck.
There is no need to exaggerate to build your legend. Just keep winning it will come.
One thing is certain, he should be higher up than Loma on the P4P list. If P4P is the discussion regarding who would win in a mythical matchup if both fighters were the same size? Well both fighters were the same size and Teo beat him handily. So ESPN how can you rate Loma higher? P4P was never designed to be a discussion on body of work. Loma should be ahead of Teo on the most accomplished fighters list but not P4P. The former is about legacy the latter is about the most dangerous fighters today. Someone at ESPN is getting things confused.

Top 5 sounds about right, since he's undefeated, 75% KO rate, and just beat the P4P #1 fighter! Usually, I would say Nah, because he only has 16 fights, but Loma only has 16 fights also! Again, Champ, my dude, stop worrying about who does NOT belong!
Talk about who you want to fight next, not about who you are not interested in fighting! You want Haney, tell Bob to make it happen! Don't wait for Kingry vs. Campbell, because they might take the spot! You want Prograis? Tell Bob to make it happen! You want to fight Pedraza or Verdejo in MSG on PR Day Weekend? Tell Bob to make it happen!
