He was just saying he'd be happy to be anywhere on the list. He beat a consensus top 3 so top 5 isn't unreasonable though.

If you beat a top 3 p4p guy only makes sense that you take his place imo

Move up to 140 and dominate and you will.

NAH, they didn't put Jeff Horn on the P4P list because he beat Manny.

Had Derev gotten the decision vs GGG (wich would have been possible) you are not gonna put him on the P4P list either.

Same for Fury when he schooled Klit... the list goes on...

It's sport, winning a single match doesn't make you the best.
Sure Teo is the man to beat at 135 now that he has the belts.

There are trilogies in this sport for a reason, because it's not always the same fighter who wins.

If the Clippers beat the Lakers once, doesn't mean they are better and have to be ranked higher.

Loma is there because he beat a bunch of guys through 3 divisions.

Teo need to work his way up, and it's not like he put a shut out on Loma as he seems to think, he was backed up by a midget the second half of the fight.

That being said, I think Teo is the TRUTH, I think he's the most talented guy in boxing, even more talented than Bud.

Most are unsure he could even beat Devon Haney in his own division including Bob Arum.

I don't know that 2 wins against significant fighters automatically gets you placed onto the top 5 best fighters pound for pound list. Teofimo Lopez needs to beat a few more top tier fighters, 2 or 3 more should do it. Fighters on the pound for pound list reach that status after securing several wins against highly rated fighters, during a extended period of their career. Beating one fighter on the pound, for pound list isn't enough. Especially a fighter who came into the fight with an injured arm, and was showing a significant decline in his most recent fights. Teofimo dose posses awesome power in his fists, and has decent boxing skills. It is possible that Teofimo can achieve the states that he's already claiming prematurely. To do so he still has some work to do, and some top rated fighters to beat. He does have a good chance of beating those fighters, but he hasn't beaten them as of yet. So the verdict is still out, until he does.
