One more fight...domestic fight against Khan that has been thrown about for years, then hang them up win or lose, but quite honestly I think he would stop Khan.

What makes you think Brook took a dive?

I feel so bad for Brook, man.

I had the guy as a low P4P top 10 guy before he fought GGG, but he wasted his career chasing Khan, Mayweather, and Pacquaio and shame on all of them for not fighting him in 2014/2015 when he held the IBF title.

If boxing was a real sport, at least one of them would've been forced to fight him once and he could've got the pay day he deserved as opposed having to go up to 160 and fight GGG because both Khan & Canelo put on their farce to avoid both of them.

Hopefully retirement will be kind to him and he saved his money and keeps enough of his marbles to enjoy his children grow up.

Compared with others Crawford has fought recently, not Khan, he didn't take much punishment so there was no damage accumulation and it took just one jab/punch for him to go down.

I think it's likely that punch hurt him enough for him to say, yeah, no, I'm out of here.

Fair enough. When I think of guys taking a dive, I think of them quitting while completely aware of their surroundings. Brook didn't look like that to me. He looked like he was almost out on his feet and that's not the same as quitting/taking a dive. If anything Brook could have just dropped to the canvas instead of taking punishment along the ropes.

I guess that in my mind Brook was not in good enough shape to take the fight in the first place, which I said many times. He was never up to it but obviously no-one is going to knock back a big $ fight so it's more an example of who made that fight when they should have known what would happen. It was the wrong fight, the only right fight for Brook was Khan who is another dodger.

What comes out of all this is that the public gets short changed and boxing generally suffers from not showing it's best face.

I get what you're saying. For you it's a matter of matchmaking and that's fair. As for Brook, it looks like he got in the best shape possible and gave his best effort, which wasn't nearly enough.
