Don’t really know why anybody puts much stock into amateur wins and losses

I mean if you’re winning big international tournaments again and again, that says something. Otherwise it’s just kids finding their feet in boxing.

Me and Gary Russell had words prior to me and Karl Dargan sparring. Me and Karl Dargan sparred, me and Karl Dargan had words — competitive sparring match — so we had to stop sparring because we got too heated in the sparring match. So Dan pulled us out. Yeah, he got the better of me, he outboxed me, he got the better of me. He did his thing that day. But not to mention, Mark Davis beat the **** out of Gary Russell that day. That’s why he really got mad.

I’m sure DSG wouldn’t blatantly lie about this, especially to Seckbach...but he didn’t say it with conviction.

He says he beat him and lost to him. I believe him. There is a record of all amateur fights so why lie? If he was just a bs bragger he would leave out the loss to Crawford.

Since they're 1-1 in the amateurs, that would be a good marketing gimmick if they ever fought.

But remember, Omar Figueroa beat Errol Spence in the amateurs, and he got dropped and beat by Ugas. Also, Tim Bradley lost a split decision to Andre Ward in the amateurs. While Porter beat Usyk in the amateurs when they were both fighting at 165.

Lol, considering the fact that Crawford almost always loses the first three rounds I don't think that means anything at all.

All those guys won the first three rounds againsy Crawford, heck even Lundy won the early rounds against Crawford.

Not a Crawford fan but whoever beat him in the amateurs, it don't mean jack in the pros.

Yeah certain guys aren’t made for the amateurs and are far, far better as professionals.

It means nothing like you said, Mayweather lost multiple times to Augie Sanchez for example, imagine what would have happened if they fought as pros...
