Calling My Shot: Jaron Ennis Beats Bud Crawford if They Fight Late 2021, Early 2022

From early 2019 I was picking Lopez to beat Lomachenko and I see another case of the young thoroughbred beating the great veteran P4P fighter. Crawford is terrific and one of my favorite fighters to watch as he is just flat out MEAN in the ring and goes for the kill every opportunity.

But Ennis is a big, strong WW who is fluid and can **** you out as well. The question regarding his chin needs to be answered but I see Ennis catching Crawford with combos as he backs straight out and winning the battle on the outside. If Crawford will have the quickness advantage, it won't be by much, if even at all.

Spence vs Crawford needs to happen soon because Ennis and Ortiz are coming. Those two could will be ready in a few fights for any of these top WWs and they will have youth on their side.

I like Boots, but he should fight somebody like Josesito Lopez, Granados, Redkach first.

Who is to say I won't be picking Ennis over Spence? I still have to see one more thing regarding that match up. But by end of 2021 or early 2022, Spence will probably be a JMW by then. Well, I guess after the Crawford fight in all likelihood.

Possible, I picked Loma over Lopez... boy was I wrong, I think realistically Bud 34/35 would be easier than Bud at 33, age does make a difference sometimes, and by early 2022 I would expect him to have slow down a bit more. He got marked up within 3 rounds against Brook, whose engine isn’t there as much, a hungrier boots would be a bit more dangerous.
