    Context matters:

-Thurman trained at LA fitness for the Lopez fight

-Lost two scary rounds to Lopez but gave Lopez 10 rounds of beatdowns and even dropped Lopez.

-Lopez trained his butt off for that fight like his whole career was at stake

-Again, Thurman trained at LA fitness

-Lopez stops Molina in his next fight.

Hmmm I don’t know. Brook was clearly beating Spence in multiple rounds. Porter fights really hard, but he wasn’t just clearly taking fight from Spence like Brook. And brook was leading the fight tonight it wasn’t like a straight beating

            Maidana stopped a better Lopez.

Thurman was coming off a 2 year LAYOFF, he had a really bad coming back fight against Josesito Lopez & Manny's team capitalized on it. Manny gets my respect for winning the fight at that age but it's not really that big of a win

I'm a dummy because I state the obvious lol.
yes pac is shot. but his shot is still good enough to compete with the best at 147. pac in his prime would annihilate everyone. easily.

yes thurman came off a long layoff but he got a tune up fight to shake off the rust. against pac he was more than prepared. whereas kell brook was severely drained, multiple KO losses took him completely out of his prime, and also coming off long layoff. too much going against brook.

It doesnt matter who wins the first few rounds of a 12 rnd championship fight, most greats give away a few rounds in finding the holes, great fighters are about the long game, while everubody is fresh rounds can be won on speed alone, pitter pater, but when the fight starts to break out the greats power up.

Its amazing how fans pile so much emphasis on something that is meaningless in the big picture.

Brook now is only the shadow of fighter from Spence fight.

I saw this fight for what it was, but the same traits that made brook competitive versus Spence showed up today. Elite boxing ability, strength, strong jab. He got ko’d, but those traits didn’t look worse than with Spence.

Only difference was Spence is more conventional which fits into brooks style better, Crawford’s timing is different. To say this is a totally different Brook, well maybe i guess but why would one say that?

That’s a reach. Just because someone loses doesn’t make them tainted goods forever. He got caught. But he was doing well in the fight, wasn’t gassed, and still could make noise at 154 if dedicated.
