In the phone calls they said to their boss...we can't find any headbutt! and their boss answered... do some more movie and confirm the ND. That's what you call a blatant robbery.

Some people are looking for a different excuse now that they can't find the phantom headbutt. There's not even proof of a thumb in the eye, only an assumption. However, there is plenty of evidence for repeated jabs to the eye and a few hard hooks. Does nobody find it strange that the officials haven't told us or showed us just exactly where the foul was committed ? They call the fight a NO CONTEST resulting from a headbutt.....Show us the headbutt.

I guess boxing is a microcosm of the world at large...Filled with unscrupulous and corrupt people.

How mfers as corrupt or incompetent as Bob Bennett & the Byrd family haven't been pitchforked out of boxing I'll never understand. If I ever cross paths with Bob in an alley I'm gonna dead ass punch him in the face & kick him in the stomach til the police come or I get tired of kicking him for fooking up boxing.

25 minutes to review 1 minute. Remember the headbutt was called very early into round 1. Mora is quickly becoming a Joe Cortez.

Just watch the fight again guys... Significant clash at around 2:10-2:05 ... I think damage was done then and subsequent hits made it worse... Just my .02 though....

The head butt was at 2:09 on the clock. A shame they didn't slow down that sequence

That headbutt was observed by the commentators and it is clear that it was on the left side of Franco's head not his right side where his eye was closing up. They kept replaying that moment over and over in slow motion even and you can clearly see that no contact was ever made on Franco's right side of his head/face.

I’ve seen you and just a few other people call Byrd out by name. That’s a big part of the problem. Not enough people shining light on the names of those behind these controversies.

I agree that Maloney was ahead and probably would have gone on to win that fight. But, come on it was two rounds, literally one well placed punch could have evened the score. No robbery at all. Disappointing it took so long to make an incorrect call, but definitely not a robbery.

You are obviously blinded by your bias and double standard. How was it not a robbery? Franco couldn't continue because his eye was shut by legal punches. They determine it a ND or NC or whatever they called it. That is a BLATANT robbery. There was no headbutt. You say one well placed punched could've evened the score? WTF are you babbling about? There was no score to even. The guy's eye was shut from a punch! It had nothing to do with the score. Do you even know how boxing works and what the protocol is for determining the decision once a fight is stopped?

Why TF us Bob arum allowed near the review. I dont get how a promoter is allowed to sway official judges during review. Oh wait, sorry, this is 2020 I totally understand now.

You aren't very observant are you? Bob was clearly pissed off when the final decision was announced. Yes a promoter shouldn't influence the officials but they came to the same erroneous decision regardless of Bob's protestations.
