Why does Terrence Crawford get so much hate on here?

I still don’t know why the guy gets so much hate on a forum that’s populated by fans of Mike Tyson, Lomachenko, Tyson Fury, Tank, GGG, Wilder, Garcia, and Usyk.

At least we can all agree that his resume isn’t that different from the resumes of most of the guys up there and a few of them have worse resumes.

Let the guy breathe - he’s deservedly the numero uno pound for pound right now. And his cherrypicking isn’t that different from Canelo’s. You can even argue that he has never failed any drugs test and has never needed corrupt judges to award him fights he clearly lost.

He’ll fight Spence and everyone else at 147 in due course.

Because he is wasting what is left of his prime years on subpar opposition. When better opponents are willing and able to fight him (i.e. Danny Garcia and Shawn Porter.)

Dude arguably has one of the weakest resumes for someone almost universally ranked in the top 3 pound for pound list.

He passes the eye test for sure and he looks amazing when you see him box, but we need to factor in strength of schedule here.

He just fights bums, pretty simple.

I expect more out of my P4P #1s than fighting a broken down punch drunk smashed eye sockets washed up Kell Brook, who cant even get Sky to show his fights anymore.

Not sure what his notion is about? That Terrence Crawford has wasted his career, he has been Undisputed at 140, a Undisputed Champion.

There is nobody really to fight at 140-147 anyway, the division is not stacked like it used to be 'During Mayweather, De La Hoya and Mosley era's etc'.

The problem is they won't fight him. Why only Crawford gets blamed for that I have no idea but he's shown he's more than willing to fight anyone...undefeated across 3 weight divisions and 0 close fights AND he goes for the stoppage every time out.

Can't ask for more from a fighter, honestly

Casual fans (which includes lots of guys on these forums too) think because Thurman, Spence, and Porter won belts and signed with PBC that they're somehow on the status of Floyd or Manny. None of these guys are competitive with prime Floyd or Manny. And none of them sweep Cotto, Mosley, Hatton, and JMM.

Crawford is undefeated across 3 weight divisions, lineal and undisputed at 140, and has never had a close fight. In the past 15 years or so there's only a handful of undisputed champions...Usyk and Crawford are the only ones I can recall. And Crawford always goes for the stoppage. What's not to like about the guy?

Because he's with Top Rank instead of Haymon PBC.

Danny Garcia, Shawn Porter, and Yordenis Ugas have all been willing to fight him.
