Probably was just dehydrated. Crawford isn't making WW all that easy, he's a pretty big dude and has said he gets up close to 180 in between fights. Could also be he has bit of a cold.

Floyd was a relatively small WW. It’s not hard for another WW to be bigger than him. Floyd didn’t come in the ring heavier than 150. He was a true WW in the sense that if boxing went back to same night weigh ins, he’d be fine at 147 while these other “WW’s” would likely need to fight at 160.

If you compare Crawford to regular sized WW’s like Spence, DSG, Porter, Thurman, they’re likely all similar in size inside the ring (height and fight night weight). Many WW’s, probably most except Juan Manuel Marquez, were/are bigger than Mayweather and Pacquiao.

Mayweather by the end of his career filled into a solid sized WW. Is he as big as guys like Brook and Spence? No, but he was a good sized WW.

Brook kept saying Crawford is a guy started at LW, and while true, he is far from a small sized WW. Crawford has legit size and will be close to or even a bit more than 160 tonight.

He's not cutting weight easy and struggles like most of the guys you mentioned to make 147.
