Crawford is a sharp shooter and will bust Brook up, Brook will swell up fast and the fight will be stopped

I would put Brook into a "damaged goods" category more than being shot...maybe not much difference when it comes down to it but I think the guys who are shot shot can't even get off with their punches anymore, they can still see and anticipate the openings like they used to but can't take advantage, no snap on their punches either. He still has a good right hand and can lead with it, how many TC opponents had a lead right hand? Anyway, I don't think I've seen shot from Brook yet. (there is a possible weight variable in coming back down to 147 but hopefully the no rehydration clause eliminates that excuse).

the thing is though - it all sounds good talking up Brook and I've done some of it myself because I'm realizing that this could be a good high skilled bout..... but when TC starts to FIGHT, I think Brook's body language at that point will let us know what he's about tomorrow night!

This is the first time since before the GGG fight that he has been in shape all year and isn’t dropping massive amounts of weight 8 weeks before the fight, like for the Spence fight.

I’m not saying he is in his prime now, But there is nothing to suggest he’s really faded.

I think it’s a real fight and also Crawford being a switch hitter isn’t going to bother Brook at all because Brooke comes from the Ingle gym where they all fight that way pretty much. He’s been training that way and sparring switchers since he was a kid. Brook can do it too, he just rarely does.
I think point is it's really difficult to tell, Kell had the 2 nasty losses and then hasn't really done anything since to prove he's still at the kinda level he was when he beat Porter 6 years ago, so it's maybe a natural inclination to err on the side of caution.

But in a sense you're right, he's really not much older than Crawford and whilst he's getting up there he's not quite in 35+ bracket where you kinda expect most guys to start to significantly decline and even in the losses, especially to Spence he was doing just fine, probably winning, up to the point his face broke.

Guess we'll find out tonight, if you're right - and I hope you are - then we could be in for a real treat.

Maybe it's my imagination but I find Brook doesn't look quite right. His eyes seem glazed over and he doesn't appear all that confident. You can never really know for sure how the fighters are feeling. Tomorrow, once they've had a full nights sleep and are fully rehydrated they might feel differently. Crawford looks a bit bigger than Brook. We'll see which guy is really the bigger fighter once they're in the ring. Brook says that Crawford has been wearing "lifts" to make himself appear taller. Not sure if that's true or not.

              Brook looks good TBH.

This could be closer than I initially thought.

Maybe a decision to Crawford or late stoppage.

I want to get excited but lets not pretend Kell isnt shot, he struggled with the male stripper for ****s sake. his face looks drawn in & shrivelled up. You dont go back down to 147 after your face is broken at 160 move back down and be the same....and that was nearly 5 ****ing years ago. Kell will show glimpses of his former self for a few rounds and then collect his final payday when bud puts it on him.

I have been a fan of Kell even before he won me alot of $ agaisnt Porter but hes done, this is a cash out job.

but but he looks muscly doe!

this is how this sort of event sells, people expecting a miracle 'if brook is at his best...' which hes never going to be, he was picked for a reason cause he has been stopped twice and looked absolute dog**** recently, not only that he has said himself numerous times he cant make 147 safely, why would it be any different this time

From memory didn’t GGG break his eye socket so it wasn’t fully healed against Spence?
