Interesting perspective on Crawford’s career thus far IMO.
Agree or disagree about Crawford?

I don't agree. While true he doesn't have any great wins, he's gone up through weight classes and fought different styles and handled everyone he's faced. It's not like he's getting guys out of there in a few rounds and is just overwhelming them. He always adjusts in the 2nd half of fights and takes over.
Crawford is the real deal. He may even be a great fighter. How great? I hope we get to find out soon enough. -
I think he’s excellent but at the end of the day, that has to be proven against other real top fighters, which he’s yet to do.
That’s why I never had him near the top p4p list. Plenty of fighters who are just good have held belts in two or three weight divisions too.Comment

I do believe he's a special talent personally but there's an element of truth in the statement, same as for any fighter who ain't really faced proven elite competition.
That said I also think folk tend to downplay the dudes he has faced though, and maybe overrate the PBC roster at Welter some simply by vitue of it being the most US talent heavy division. It is a good division but the preception possibly outweighs the reality because it's the most heavily promoted division in the biggest market in boxing.Comment

I think you’re spot on with that second part. Crawford may not have any elite wins but he has a lot of good wins on his resume that many people dismiss.I do believe he's a special talent personally but there's an element of truth in the statement, same as for any fighter who ain't really faced proven elite competition.
