I was thinking about it when it was announced, and yea, I agree. Heavyweight has been moving up through history, the minimum was originally 175 or somethin. Guy’s are getting massive and the population is growing (although I don’t have the statistics as to whether that has meant more boxers). The bidgerweight champ has a smaller gap, the big fish there will likely find it easier to challenge the heavy champ.

Agreed but I didn’t like it at first but Bridger is the bridge between that and heavyweight. It’s kind of cool . I’m also going to assume some champions of the class will go for a heavyweight title so it’s not like we are not getting or denying fights. If people did there homework on here they would know guys at or around 220 don’t normally fight guys over 225 so they are basically robbing themselves on getting more fights scheduled with this class .
