Only the WBC recognize the new weight class. The other 3 do not so i think it will be a big flop and go away soon. It is a good weight for wilder and most heavyweights could make that weight if they lost excess blubber.

That makes no sense . Heavyweight fighters weigh what they are comfortable weighing so anyone weighing over 220 fighting a 270 pounder would have no merit . If someone feels they are to small and being bullied they are in the wrong sport competing at heavyweight, and that’s why the Bridget weight class was made for potential whiners like Wilder who used weight as an excuse ? What fighter does that ? Ha

You can’t seriously tell me you don’t know the difference in lighter weight classes cutting weight and that being more impactful ? If poor little Wilder can’t handle super heavyweights he knows where the door is .

Wilder literally went on a small rant on 78 sports channel about how Fury cheated by putting on extra size not long ago ,I forget which crazy one it was ? Wilder has made several excuses about weight but it was always his weight ,now it’s someone else’s for why he performed poorly . He’s either to light or heavy or someone is to big now ,you can’t make this stuff up . Ha

I hope NOBODY participates and pay Fees for this Bridgerweight but if they do then I think the best way to introduce this Belt would be to get with Kalle Sauerland and do a World Boxing Super Series Tournament for it Crowning the 1st Ever "Bridgerweight" Champion

As for Wilder, no I don't think he should be apart of that, it would look even work if he was to leave the Heavyweight Division and go join this Garbage. Instead Wilder needs to Bulk Up and stop making Excuses about why he can't keep on weight "He Forgets To Eat" "His Gym Is Extremely Hot" and a bunch of other BS excuses Jay Deas have made in the past about him not putting on and keeping on weight

Except that excuse was used being to bulky for Fury . He’ll be either to light or heavy by his fans no matter what .

The Bridger class is good because it opens up other super fights with guys that we all know could be to small for heavyweight,I listed several of them already.

I’d like to see Wilder vs the names I mentioned,I’d even like to see crazy Wilder go after his own brother and sell that one , then I know he made all time crazy in any sport . Ha

If Wilder loses in the Bridger class the excuses will full on stop as well which is another reason it’s intriguing.

WBC created that for Tyson, if he decides to campaign...let's not pretend that Wilder hasn't been consistently boxed up, I can't even recall a won round without a knockdown, no bridgerweight will save him, and would be a flat out embarrassment to run away from heavy

This could also be true , hope Mike makes a run for it and gets more motivated to go for a title even though he says they aren’t important . One things for sure if Mike looks great again don’t expect Wilder to be jumping in line to fight him .

A million years ago Leon Spinks was getting frequently ko'd at heavyweight and he desperately thought he could win a world belt at cruiserweight and he was stopped in a title fight by Qawi.

Unless Wilder is going to fight a career journeyman there is no financial point in fighting in this division against a live body when he can make way more at heavyweight.

The message boards mocking him by running to the "Wilder" division would be priceless...

I fully expect to see Wilder vs some small heavyweight nobody has ever heard of to be the first Bridger weight fight for the WBC title.

                      Fully expect it.
