Crawford doesn’t have those same options under the TR banner.

He signed with TR and TR doesn't play well with others.

I think he doesn't want to be in this "Needy" position for the duration of his career and would like to have options of his own and I think Jose Ramirez or Josh Taylor will be excellent options for him. Shawn Porter is #1 Mandatory by the WBO followed by Young Vergil Ortiz who like Teofimo Lopez just did vs Loma, likely feels he can do the same vs Crawford right now and with GBP looking for that next STAR to replace Canelo, they will have no choice but to speed track Ortiz now to be the new face of GBP

So Bud will start getting bigger fights and much tougher challenges, it is coming regardless if he stays with Top Rank or he does indeed become a Free Agent and is able to float around and work with whoever offers the most money and best fights like what Canelo is doing right now

I agree. It's ridiculous. The past couple of headlines simply talk about who he won't fight, and why it won't work out, or how it won't hurt his legacy, whatever. He's literally wasting his prime justifying fighting bums or has-beens.

Crawford is no spring chicken. I will bet you that when he tries to leave Arum will sue him and box him out for a few more months like he always does.

I’m getting the impression he’s content just getting paid for demolishing the likes of Brook and Khan.

Saying not fighting Spence won’t hurt his legacy is crazy talk IMO. It majorly hurts both their legacies if this fight never happens.
Agree 100%. Bud has been my favorite active fighter the last few years and is definitely in my upper tier p4p, but his career has ended up being a disappointment. He got rich and sat out his prime. I'm honestly bummed about it.

Only its a case of his contract expires, cant stop him from signing with anyone once that happens, different if TC was breaking contract and leaving but its not like that.

I think he is content to beat up guys who are not top contender and get paid top dollar for doing it. I think Porter would have fought him for not that much money and nobody would complain about him taking that fight.

Same here man, I think he has ATG potential but we’ll never find out if he’s only fighting these B/C level guys.
