Any fighter would be crazy to pass up a fight with cotto. That's a huge pay day even if it wasnt a belt grab. Couple that with canelo being a major draw as well he woulda been ****** to not take that fight and then build the golovkin fight even more..


I'm a fan of boxing not promoters and I think the benavidez fight is interesting just because of the sheer size and chin of benavidez. Aside from those two things benavidez brings nothing else to the table, he isnt a great boxer, he isnt fast, slick, his power in my opinion is just a result of him being able to drain down to that weight class, he isnt a big draw.

Maybe he will fight one of them someday but until they announce any of those fights I doubt it.
