i'd lean towards taylor to beat him, hes been fighting against a higher level of opposition in recent years, for all the talk of crawford being 'pound for pound' theres no real difference between their resumes

What makes Bud so formidable, is his capacity to adjust. One of the biggest assets of the greatest fighters! His ring IQ, his groove, right handed or southpaw, inside, distance, the guy does it all.

      Plus he's one mean Motherfunker!

Brook has no chance, and Taylor will do good in spots against him, but not enough to beat him.

yep he shows all these awesome qualities against a sloppy opposition. Put him in with a Shawn Porter or a healthy Spence. Heck even Garcia would whoop this paper champ

        His last five fights:

        Egidijus Kavaliauskas
        Amir Khan
        Jose Benavidez Jr
        Jeff Horn (smiles)
        Julius Indongo

The better the opponent, the more his qualities will stand out. Mark my words.

And by the way, Brook beat Porter, who also lost to Ugas (unofficially) and Thurman (officially). Porter "the linebacker" also forced Spence to go life and death. Not even gonna talk about Danny, who was outboxed by Peterson and Herrera.

I think Taylor is better than Ramirez and wins.

Not sure if unification necessarily mandates Taylor or Ramirez to fight a 147lbs champion, or necessarily Crawford?

Pacquiao is a bigger money fight at 147lbs and easier than Crawford or Spence.

I thought Taylor was smaller than Crawford.
He is 5 ft 10 in, so actually taller than Crawford?!

If Ramirez beats Taylor, then he will jump up and fight Crawford.

Both are good fights and it is clear that Top Rank are building both to become an opponent for Crawford.

Unification does not mean you get a shot, unless you are with the WBO (their champs become mandatory when stepping up)..... the winner of Ramirez/Taylor become mandatory for Crawford's title.

Both Ramirez and Taylor are big 140lb'ers...... and can mix it at 147 easily.

Usyk moved up 2 years ago and is still hunting Joshua who has mandos lined up due to his inactivity and losing.

josh taylor is a skillful fighter but i doubt he is durable enough to beat bud esp at 147 where he has not fought

I didn't know that about WBO.

Yes, both Ramirez and Taylor are big enough for 147.
I think Taylor has a much better shot though...
