I’ve never really followed his career,,, and f he was competitive 10yrs later he could hardly have been washed up mid 80’s..
Maybe he just wasn’t as good as you think he was?

38 isn’t old for a heavyweight, especially a boxer.. not as if he was a flat footed brawler

He fought wars and fought Michael Spinks twice. Losing both obviously, but to say he's not as good he made it to 49-0. Tell me who exactly was he competitive against at the time?

It is old when you go through wars, and fight top notch fighters. Boxers can be finished physically at 32 why would you think that isn't old? Because of how things are now?

Holmes was 0-2 in title fights for the decade and had only one notable win...In ten years. Saying he "dominated the era" is an absolute joke. Foreman was 2-2 in title fights which was impressive given his age but I would hardly call that domination

As I said, I’ve never really followed him that closely, he’s a bit before my time

90s HW era has to be the most overrated era. When it’s said and done, I’d put this era above it tbh.
                  - -Never said what grade U in.

                  They're the same age!

Tubsy Lar never won a title against a standing champion having won his title in the ring, 0-6 in that regard.

2nd grade, or U put back to the first?

Funny how 45/yr old Foreman knocked out Micheal Moorer who defeated Holyfield.

But grandad from Bondoocks didn’t dominate tho. LMAOOO

A lot of you like shiiiitting on this era but yer favourite era in the 90s was actually worse.
