Continuing the if theory, Jacobs ends him in a rematch if he didn't have cancer.

      lol
Jacob's couldn't even beat GGG, and he looked to be 40lbs more than GGG in that fight

        That if theory, though.

That's what this thread is about, yes ?

You went a whole different direction. They did fight. If Jacobs didn’t have cancer he’d probably still get caught. What next? What if Zeus blessed Jacobs’ hands with thunder and he decapitated Pirog with the first punch he threw.

GGG and Pirog didn’t fight and were scheduled. I think GGG may have gotten it. I’ve got to go with the longer consistent body of work of GGG. Just not enough to go on picking Pirog here.

It was the Jacobs win that put Pirog on the map.
A rematch would probably have happened before GGG stepped up.

Are you saying that if Pirog didn't injure his back, he would have pulled out of the scheduled fight with Golovkin to rematch Jacobs instead?

He would've beaten them all and had a long reign like Hopkins.

Brilliant fighter... they didn't call him The Grandmaster for nothing.

What? It didn’t. They were scheduled to fight. The back injury happened while training for the GGG fight and the fight was cancelled because of it with something like less than a month to go before fight day (or around that time).
