Im liking the seemingly willingness to fight each other. Two young guys the loser would still come good. I say lets get it on!! With guys like garcia davis ect they could have a good few battles between them all.

The WBA 'Super' champions are obligated to face the WBA 'Regular' champion. The WBC 'Franchise' champion has no duty to prove that he is superior to his co-champion. Both Haney and Lopez are debased as WBC champs, until they resolve this matter.

Teofimo isn’t undisputed until he claims the WBC gmail belt.

Didn’t think anyone could make it any worse or more confusing than the WBA has...

          ...The WBC did.

He's right. Because anyone fighting Teo will be fighting for the actual undisputed championship.

Haney became Lomachenko's mandatory. And rather than have to deal with that mando at some point, Lomachenko's team asked for Franchise status instead. Voluntarily dropping the WBC belt to Haney.

              Those are the facts.

The WBC actually tried to get rid of useless mismatches with their ranked contenders, so they did the boxers earning a shot dirty ; then they followed that up by screwing their world-champion and the legacy of the WBC lightweight title

These were the expected results, more titles.

People are still day dreaming if they still think Lopez vs Haney is gonna happen. It’s not, at least at 135. Lopez can keep saying he wants to fight Haney but Bob won’t allow that. We’re talking about Arum’s cash cow and future. It’s all in house fights for Lopez from now on.

Maybe somewhere down the future these two might fight but definitely not now.

I think they both have a legitimate claim to the WBC title, and should compete for it before either of them move up (to avoid further confusion and allegations of "ducking"). Thanks WBC. But if that fight is made, I think Devin beats Teo fairly easily.

But, of course this wont happen. And two years on when they are at fancy weight I'll probably pretend I dont care to see that fight finally made because the trauma from all the gaslighting and lies from boxing.
