Will Shawn Porter get into the Hall of Fame?

Has he down enough to earn a spot in the Hall of Fame? Does he need a win against Crawford to get him there?

I think he needs that one signature win that's missing right now. I'm not sure if get can pull it off. He may have to pursue titles at 154 where the talent pool isn't as deep.

it is possible he could get in. If you study who is in the hall of fame some boxers in the hall were not that good. Porter is probably borderline on making it in. He might need some additional impressive wins to get in. Staying at 147 does not hurt him. Many are carried away with how important it is to win titles at higher weights but it does not make a fighter better. With 4 different champions at each weight class they can target the weakest champion of the 4 to move up. That is what Canelo did to get titles at 168 and 175.Porter could get in without fighting Crawford but a win over Crawford would get him in for sure because Crawford is going to the hall for sure.

If he wants a title at 154, that would mean he'd have to fight Charlo. I see Porter losing that by KO.

He needs to either win a rematch with Spence or beat Crawford.

Spence says he just wants Pacquiao and Crawford before he moves up in weight. So Crawford is the way to go.
