When he did make his actual move to 135 he fought the best fighter at 135 for his first fight.

Your narrative is nothing close to reality.
IRON- when you say "Wrong" I suppose you mean yourself. This guy was a top, unbeaten champion with 5 defences of which he scored 4 KO/TKOs. . His "layoff", about which I've spoken before was a whole 7 months, his "layoff" in the fight Before, was a whole 6 months.

Some layoff for a top athlete in his early/mid 20s. preparing to fight a very low-level journeyman.. And you can't get away from Augustus' 16 loss record....SIXTEEN LOSSES....and Augustus was well below the lightweight limit by several lbs. And had NO punch.

You Mayweather lovers don't seem to realise how sickening you are to normal, logical common-sense persons. Fawning, licking the backside, etc of a creature who, with great natural talent, rather conned his way though his career, and later life, using legal and extra legal methods to give him an overwhelming advantage in every fight.

I actually liked Mayweather....until I found out what really happened before the Corrales fight. I suppose you don't know about -or ignore it.. THAT painted his whole career for me. He ruined Corrales WHOLE life by his cunning schemes and chicanery.

Pooh.... You used to be a good poster and I listened to you with respect...But no more. Maybe the smell of hundreds of millions wafting from the Las Vegas Strip Clubs to you, hundreds-if not thousands of miles away, was too much for you and affected your straight thinking.

Or maybe you were always like that and I didn't notice.. No matter your opinion is your own, as is mine.

Even with hands made of paper mache.

      He has set the standards
All HOFers are matched up with him in fantasy fights.

Floyd was good enough to duck every prime opponent.
