How WBA superfeather title switched hands between Jezzrel Corrales and Gervonta Davis?
Why Corrales in July of 2017 fought for the real title against Robinson Castellanos an won, but then
instead of making next defense he fought for the secondary (regular) title against Machado?
And based on what the next fight for the real WBA title was between Gervonta Davis and Jesus Cuellar?
I would understand if Corrales went to the next weight and the title became vacant. But he did not...
For some strange reason he switched from fighting for World Boxing Association Super World Super Feather Title
to fighting for World Boxing Association World Super Feather Title (the secondary one).
And then when Gervonta Davis fought Jesus Cuellar (04/2018) less than a year passed since the last title fight, but their fight is not for "vacant title".
Something happened outside the ring here... But what exactly?
