Brook was game vs GGG and Spence. He was gallant in defeat as much as Porter was. Porter gallantly fought and lost to Brook, Spence and Thurman I’m entertaining fights. No shame in those losses at all.

As for cleaning out an entire weight classes ... can you name all the guys that Crawford best to unify the division without googling?

I think Crawford is a great fighter but he has done nothing at 147. The guy is 33 I think and is going the PAC route of carefully selecting his opponents. No surprises there since both are promoted by the low life turd Arum.

Crawford needs to fight Spence, Porter, or even Thurman.
It’s the reason most root against him and I hope Brook’s eye holds up. He has the tools to beat Crawford
Exactly dude is talking aout his @$$. I like Crawford but he has fought NOBODY

joe you are so right. this reminds of pac vs de la hoya. when bob arum dragged skeletor de la hoya down to 147 where he hadn't had a fight in 7 years.

Fighting multiple champs, whether you know them or not, beats winning one fight against Porter. Porter is not as special as you're trying to make him out to be.

What about the fact that Pacquiao went up 2 weightclasses for that fight? Did you want him to go up 3? Hoya only had to lose 3lb’s. He ***ed himself trying to prove a point by coming in as light as possible.

So PAC fighting guys like Brandon Rios, Mathysse, Diaz, Broner is better than fighting live wires like Porter?

As for those multiple champs Crawford beat, can you name them without googling?

I would think that Brook is the hardest puncher that Crawford has faced. If Brook is not suffering weight issues then he will put hands on Crawford and unless Crawford lands a pin point shot on Brook's chin then Brook will be able to take the odd pot shot as he did against Golovkin for a while and Spence for longer.

Can't remember a recent fight whose outcome depends so much on weight management of one fighter. You could say Tank (but he is young but undisciplined) or Ruiz-Joshua 2 but that was just lazy indiscipline - Brook has the discipline but if his body says "no" then that's it.
Hey man, what exactly do you mean by what and how he eats after the weigh in? As in he should avoid anything too heavy and late at night?

                To your first question: Yes.
                To your second question: Yes.

Stop trying to hype Porter up, dude. His head butt is his best punch.

I don't know exactly what he should eat but obviously it should be nutritious and give him his energy back if he had to dehydrate to make 147. But there's loads of stories about fighters over-eating after weigh-in which affects their performance once they are in the ring.

He came out today and said that as its the WBO belt he won't be constricted by the IBF 10lb-over-weighin limit of the IBF as he was for earlier fights. So if he wants to eat so much more than 10lbs exactly how much does he plan on weighing in the ring?

The body is not meant to jump 20 pounds in a little over 24 hours - and if it does then it affects performance - maybe not if you're a cruiserweight but at lighter weights it will and especially considering the older you are then the more it affects you.

This has me more in favour of Bud now. Brook can't come in at 165+ pounds and then lose stamina in the late rounds.

Good info man. I've always wondered what some of the fighters eat after a weigh in and whether or not some of the ones who struggled to make weight splurge. Thanks for the breakdown.
