Now they are fighting Gamboa who is coming off what is probably a career ending injury in an easy cashout against a big name normally I wouldn't have a problem with that it's what young fighters are supposed to do but Haney wants to be called a champion he needs to face actual former 135 champions that can give him a decent fight what happened to the fight between him and Fortuna who is not much better than Gamboa but at least is fresher.

The claim that Vasily never lost the WBC title is invalid in the fact that he gave it up. No one is arguing that he ( Lomachenko ) never held said title. Lomachenko vs. Lopez established the new lineage at 135, #1. vs. #2. No one is arguing that Lopez is not THE MAN, but he can not rightfully claim to be 'undisputed' when there is another champion in his division.
