I thought Russia had a vaccine? If a 70+ year old man who works non stop can recover in just a few days then I am sure an active healthy athlete will be fine.

No one has EVER said it was fake. (No one sane.) But there needs to be balance. COVID-19 is real and way more contagious than the Flu, also more deadly. But we know who it is dangerous to and we know who it is NOT dangerous to. A top conditioned athlete like Povetkin will be fine.

The new figures seem to suggest it's not all that much more deadly than the flu, 0.2 compared to 0.1.Its more contagious they say, but I've know three people who tested positive asymptomatic, but didn't give it to people who lived with them. So maybe it'd just the symptomatic ones who are more contagious. Makes sense if they are coughing I suppose.

If this was just the Flu, the fight would be on, BUT I can imagine Westerners screaming... "How dare he put everyone in danger?" if the fight was to go on.
