Just like I predicted way back in 2011 Broner would wind up in jail and one day be completely broke, jail has come true, but he is not broke yet, still has $13

I feel bad for Broner. As much I disliked his antics and many of the things he said and did during his career, I don’t like seeing him like this. He needs his family and real friends to be there and support him right now. Definitely don’t want to be in jail with COVID out there. He said he has a fight on Jan 16th, the judge should give him a final warning, let the man earn a living instead of putting him in jail during a pandemic.

Truth be told; that video is hard to watch. I hate the entire court system, why does broner have to answer the question differently than he answered it? he's being held in contempt of court because he didn't understand the question and didn't answer it to the judge's satisfaction?

These courts are getting a lil too powerful imo.

I had a friend who was held in contempt of court for over a year for forgetting his passcode, they alleged he used his phone to sell drugs but pressed no charges against him but held him for contempt of court for not remembering his passcode to unlock his phone. He was eventually set free no charges ever filed against him. Over a year of his life for forgetting his cell phone passcode.

broner just highlighted how dumb he actually is in this court, throwing poeple under the bus like Al Haymon, Stephen Espinoza, Tank Davis saying they send him large amounts of money that they possibly aint reporting to the tax man.
look at that belly... This guy isnt serious

Shakur Stevenson should be in jail, for beating up defense-less people on the ground and hitting women. Low class punk ! and Tank Davis look at Broner and make sure you do not follow his foot steps.

Despite the criminal case being closed by the court, Broner’s accuser also filed a civil suit. Broner disregarded the lawsuit, failing (or refusing) to hire a lawyer and not honoring any notices to the point of a default judgment awarded to his accuser.

kinda hard to feel sorry for this guy. he just needed to hire some heavyweight lawyer to fight this from day one and he wouldn't be going through this. I'm sure it burns him to have to cough up over $800,000 to some whore but like I said he ignored this and allowed it to get here

When you ignore court orders to respond or appear. He has kept stringing the judge along trying to “run out the clock” thinking this will just go away if he ignores long enough. It’s obvious he ignored court orders to appear otherwise there wouldn’t have been a “default judgement.” This isn’t the court getting a “lil too powerful.” This is an entitled, spoiled, little brat thinking he can ignore court orders and no consequences will be forthcoming. He got exactly what he deserved.

Pants sagging off. How the **** you showed up to court like that and expected to be taken seriously?

That’s not how the legal system works. Wimpy tried to pull that with Popeye each time by saying “I’ll gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today.” You don’t get to decide when it’s convenient for you to pay a civil judgement all the while ignoring court orders. The judge was tired of hearing the Wimpy excuse.
