Kind of crazy though , kid has good skills but is ignored while Stevenson is talked about alot (yes he is a great boxer) too defensive for my taste, however he is known more for talking big and doing ****** **** and crying after losing in the amateurs.

Stevenson was a US Olympian and a Silver medalist while all his fights from his pro debut have been aired. No surprise he is getting more attention than Colbert. But Colbert will get a chance to prove his worth soon enough.

I dont know i am not sure Stevenson is very tough mentally. Yes he will beat 95 percent of the fighters becuase of his style, but the truly elite fighters will break him mentally i think. I feel the same way about Haney. Does Stevenson remind you of Howard Davis. Yes i know Howard Davis never won a world title that i know of but it was much harder to do that back then. Less belts, contenders fought contenders to get to the top. etc.

We shall see, some are higher on Stevenson than others and then you have some that just think he's a good fighter with a ceiling.

When he gets in a dog fight against an opponent who is skillful and is trying to win, then we will see Stevenson's mental game. If I had to guess, I say he will pass the test. I haven't seen anything to tell me he is mentally weak up until this point tbh.
