Why Did Tank Davis SWITCH GLOVES Before the Fight?

No idea if he did or didn't. If it was approved by both sides and the commission it's fine. The point I'm trying to make is boxing has a bad rep so if there is a problem or it was OK the commission should explain either way.

as other have stated texas commission is the worst in the world.

If it was two rival promotions the opposing team would still inspect the switch of gloves again. “Again” as in the first pair that were put on. But because LSC has no pull for this event, a TMT show, it somehow becomes practical for Team LSC to not be around when they lace up the gloves again?

People cry about corruption or tampered gloves with Fury, so somehow teams no longer worry about inspection for switched gloves?

TMT and Texas commission were suspect with this. I wonder if LSC were persuaded to not make a stink about it...

Interesting, by the way I believe they were Winning not a no name brand.

Winnings have a logo on their gloves though...so where is the winning logo?

davis is probably sponsored by a different glove brand.

The purpose of this exercise or for us to be critical is regarding the commission. For whatever theory was out on Fury would be applied to Tank, so it eventually gets cancelled out for both fighters being accused.

But look at this video below. Tank CHOSE the gloves he wanted to use. They felt CORRECT the day before. This is before the wraps were even put on. Tank would already know if they were “too big” beforehand. After they are laced with the wraps and tape the gloves are snug. Yet somehow in the final hour he and his trainers complain about it being too big? Lol. After rehydration too? Ok...

Why would Floyd continue to ask Tank a dozen times if the gloves felt ok?

I have a feeling Grant and the no name “Winning” were tampered... maybe Floyd was nervous that it wouldn’t go as planned... the shot it self that KO’d Cruz is irrelevant. It’s the su****ion for any percentage of an advantage as the beating goes on throughout rounds...

the fight itself and the ko are irrelevent.

Why tank fans getting so defensive and trying to skirt the subject at hand just like the Wilder fans have been doing. Oh yeah, same ppl.

It is a question worth asking, Im sure there will be a totally reasonable and legit explanation but from those pictures it is quite clear that they have changed the gloves, AFTER, the inspection.

But the Tank fans seem content just attacking the Boxing fans who want answers and skirting around the ear fact that those gloves seem to be different.

Its like they dont want to acknowledge the evidence or discuss it. They are not even mentioning it in their posts. It's like it never happened to them.

Remember when Floyd threatened to pull out of the Maidana fight on fight night if Maidana didn't change his gloves? Imagine ANY fighter trying to change their gloves on fight night versus Floyd? No doubt he's paying someone off to get away with all of his double standards.
