This is why he is all wrong for Joshua. He will fight scared, like he did against Ruiz, and will be outboxed.
What's there to be scared of? Usyk is clearly not a big puncher at heavyweight and he's not even a big inside fighter. He will have to get close to land on the taller, longer Joshua and that will be a risk he has to be willing to take. Usyk is a great boxer but he had problems with Chisora. Joshua is at least a level above Chisora.

Not sure Joshua's got the same kinda dog in him that Delboi does but Dereck kinda laid a bit of a blueprint... you don't try to box Usyk you aim to bully him.
I agree with you about Usyk's chances against Joshua but I think Joshua could set up his shots from the outside, with the height and reach and do damage with straight shots, forcing Usyk to close the gap and get caught with some of Joshua's shorter power punches on the way in.

It would be funny if Babic was the one to do it.

KO AJ over U 12th round.
That's a great comparison and it may well turn out that way.
Too bad for Billy Conn he got a little greedy and stopped dancing which had Joe turning all night. He could've won a decision if he kept moving.

He seems decent but he is a bit predictable and straight up. His last opponent was out of the ring for like 6 years or something so he definitely needs to step it up in his next fight, that was embarassing.

Yes that's exactly how boxing works. The good big man typically beats the good small man. You can critcize AJ all day but Usyk will not find it as easy to outbox AJ as he did Chisora.

"almost having someone out of there" Is like you drop them heavily, they barely get up, you are wailing on them in the corner and then the bell rings to end the round.

People need to stop saying someone was "almost ko'd" just because they were effected by a shot.

He slightly buzzed Chisora a couple of times when he was really gassed, that's it.
Exactly. That's what happens when you throw the kitchen sink at your opponent nonstop for the first four rounds. If Chisora was hurt so bad in that round and Usyk was so fresh and outboxing him, why didn't he knock him out? It's not like Chisora went into a defensive shell or started holding all night going into survival mode. Usyk won a close, competitive fight, nothing more. I'm looking forward to his next fight but like many people, I have my doubts about his ability to become world champion.

For one, Joshua will never come out swinging like Chisora did. He has lost confidence in his chin, and will fight scared. Thus he will try to box, and will get outboxed by the better Usyk.

This said, I disagree completely with your assessment of the fight: Chisora didn't land one clean damaging shot. On the other hand, Usyk hurt him twice, and was spinning circles around Chisora who came out of the fight dizzy and disgusted with himself. Usyk probably could have finished him, but didn't,t want to take any chances, knowing he was winning anyway... and would be moving on to a mega payday against Joshua.
