They were both champions at 154 in their late 20s FFS! Men grow very little or not at all at that age. Hell, jermall's twin brother still makes 154 with no problem. Canelo went to 175 only once to fight a washed up Kovalev he knew he could beat and then quickly got out of that weight class and now fights at his best weight of 168.as much as you would like to, you don't run boxing. So why don't you not worry about what weight class pro boxers chose to fight at instead of crying that all these boxers should move up a weight class or two?

Meanwhile Big Charlo and Andrade fool fans that they are ideal at that weight.Last edited by just the facts; 11-01-2020, 01:27 PM.

You guys forget the paradox of weight classes and whom are ideal within it. Canelo, if he still prefers to drain at 160 like the rest of these bozos in Jermall Charlo, GGG, Andrade... then he’s doing himself a disservice. All these guys too could fight a Fielding at 168, but they CHOOSE to stay at 160 to prove what!? LMAO. Canelo just staying ACTIVE in yo-yo weights from 168-175 is better than milking 160 strictly. Jermall Charlo is bigger if not the same as Canelo on fight night if they were to fight at 160. Jermall Charlo and Jacobs are about the same imo. They are BIG for 160 and ideal at 168. Jermall Charlo is sooo soft he should be chasing Caleb Plant per Haymon, easy fight to make. Since neither of these fighters call each other out knowing they make a good payday and probably PPV shows everyone that they are not elite like Canelo. Eye test alone proves all that.

Canelo hardly dared to be great by facing an, old washed alcoholic coming off a beating a month in a half before the fight. Also he really only went up one weight class because he can no longer make 160, anyway.
