    Santa Cruz fought very well.

    Gervonta has a lethal uppercut.

      Very good fight.

If Leo had some power it might've been different.

Respect to both men and I hope Leo is ok and recovering well.

Indeed a very good fight. Leo definitely proved his worth and was the first guy to really fight back and tried to actually beat Tank since Pedraza.

Leo could have done some things better but he had to fight back throwing punches in bunches to keep Tank off of him.

Would still like to see either fighter take on GRJ in the near future.

It was obvious from the first round Tank was too much Leo. He fought well because he’s a good fighter and has a lot of heart but Tank had the power advantage. I saw Leo slowing down in the third after Tank started going to the body. Leo made it a great fight but Tank was never in any danger of losing. He was either going to be stopped like he did or take a beating for 12 rounds.

It was a miscalculation , but you cant be too critical as Leo was walking somewhat of a tight rope in the fight.

I prefer talking about fights, I think I'm in the minority.

I think Tank is a great fighter, but he should stay at these lower weights, his defence is leaky so I would fear for him against the bigger guys. He should max his potential at 130-135 and only move up beyond that if his body forces him to.
If Tank and his team took anything away from this fight it’s that Tank is best suited for 130.

If he can learn to live like Bhop, Hagler or GGG where he maintains his weight in between fights, he has a chance to have a dominant 130lb reign.

If he reverts back to his old stuff then I expect him to have a Broner type career where he never wins big fights at 135 and 140.

            It’s all on Tank now.

In doing so he left himself vulnerable for the uppercut. Tank times him and it was over.

Sadly, the majority of posters don’t seem to care about that. They are more concerned with hating Tank because of who promotes and manages him.
Never understood the hate for Tank. The guy is always respectful and he seems pretty humble.

I want to see Tank do that against a real lightweight

Come on dude. He’s promoted by Floyd and fights under the PBC banner, owned by Haymon.

You’ll get posters that will lie about hating him because of his out of the ring incidents or because he talks smack. But it’s really just who he is associated with.

He doesn't even talk that much smack. Hes a quiet dude. But yeah, its all abt PBC and Floyd.

I hated Broner because the waybhe acted, but I dont see the same in Y
                    Tank, at all.

It was good, but it was pretty clear tank wasn’t bothered by Leo’s punches. He tested him a couple rounds before and then just walked right through him in the last round. He got Leo into a fire fight and hurt him in the exchange, then finished him in brutal fashion. It’s hard to picture him doing that to a bigger stronger opponent though. I actually thought his best work was in I think round 3, when he was boxing from the outside and doing that viscous body work. Santa Cruz has no answer for that and it sapped his energy.
