Many didn't give Chisora a chance in that fight but the truth is at times he was neck and neck with Usyk and only lost the fight by one round on two of the judges scorecards. The fight could have easily been a draw if Chisora won one more round. Chisora believes he won it clearly.
Similar to the Lopez vs Loma fight, Chisora was doing enough good work to keep Usyk's slick skills at bay for large portions of that fight. Like Loma, Usyk was only able to show off his skills in patches because of the work his opponent was doing to mitigate them. Obviously Lopez and Chisora styles are very different but I can still see similarities between how those fights played out.
Probably the best performance anyone ever produced against Usyk over 12 rounds, perhaps with the exception of the Briedis fight? So whose performance was truly more impressive - Chisora's or Usyk's?
