      only explanation if he indeed came in at 200 lbs unless he has cancer. not like he gained in bodyfat when he became a heavyweight

        Actually I've heard that between fights Evander always goes down to about 200-210 and has to bulk up before training to reach 215-220. Maybe he decided that at this stage in his career, he needs as much stamina as he can get and choose to forsake the bulking up/weight training phase of his training camp.

            Holyfield's head has always been big...as you age you can thicken out, especially your head size if you keep gaining weight/muscle...I am thicker now than when I was 18...all the males on my Father's side seem to keep thickening with age until they are about 35-40 years old.

            For Holyfield, he could of been juicing, not saying he didn't, but gaining muscle weight really isn't all that hard if you workout hard, eat a lot, and have good genes {which doesn't have to be great, just good}

            We are also talking about a guy that looks like he is always under 10% body fat, unlike a lot of guys that are probably 200lbs of muscle, but come in at 230lbs with that extra weight.

            It could mean a few things: (1) Holy is off the Juice if he was on them (2) Like somebody else mentioned, he needs less weight in order to have better stamina...remember, I think he was slightly under 210 when he fought Foreman and some others when he got on the seen as a Heavyweight (3) He is old: he can't train or eat like he used to; he is shot, his body's chemistry has shut down for athletic purposes.

            I will say this, he did look big as a Mother F***** against Tyson...did you see that man's traps that might be something so I will give you that

              I remember seeing a special on Holyfield years ago probably mid to early 90's and the interviewer asked about using steroid and Lou Duva went off on the interviewer that i though Lou was going to kick his ass. And Holyfield was just ice and was about to answer untill Lou just erupted. I think Holyfield like Hopkins are very discaplined boxers.

                it may also mean he just stopped lifting all together to heel up , his shoulder been bad for years and lifting doesnt help. if he stopped lifting he will knock this guy out, weights arent any good for boxing
