You seem to forget that Mayweather made a career of ducking real fighters, weight draining has beens, and failing to close the show against tomato cans. He did beat Canelo, but so did Lara , Trout, and GGG (twice perhaps?) , and he also soundly beat his wife, an MMA fighter with zero boxing fights on his record, a 100 pound Japanese kickboxer, and a rodeo clown.
He also got plenty of favourable home town judging. How many times did go in the road to fight? Think Usyk is at 8 fights in a row on the road.
Let's not pretend that Floyd would have entered a gauntlet of a tournament like the WBSS. Usyk sure cleaned house in that didn't he? How many times did Floyd have all four belts in a weight class?
