I think Wilder would clip him reletivley fast ,one thing Wilder does have is decent feet at 6”7 and fast hands remember Louis wore very little padded gloves ,I believe Wilder would stop Louis ,both have suspect chins even if that’s not the popular opinion but Louis got hit with those old time boxing gloves ?

I would say either man can win ,Louis would have a hard time though reaching Wilder before he gets hit solidly. Wilders foot work and huge reach advantage wins it for me against an old time parrying style Louis ,I think one shot would through that type of structure and Louis kept his hands very low . Comparing skills obviously Wilder doesn’t come close but take into account Louis weakness which was not covering distance very fast he’s going to be a long way from Wilder and Louis has been dropped by Wild punchers like 5”9 Galento ,Wilder would stop Louis with the same type of punches .

This is silly to be discussing. Deontay Wilder CLEARLY KNOCKS JOE LOUIS TF OUT. I think that wilder is probably, even a wilder without faints or head movement, is still a better boxer (I know this sounds crazy but hear me out). The development of boxing has changed drastically, if you compare the tape of the guys from 20's, 30's, or 40's with the tape of modern contenders even, you can see a skill difference.
