I like Hunter because he's been able to expose hypejob heavyweights whose only redeeming quality is their sheer size, like Bakole and Ustinov for instance. That said, Fury's definitely not that guy. It's just not a good fight. Fury would win but the fight would be ugly and boring owing to Hunter's compact size for a heavyweight.

Robert Helenius the ‘Nordic Nightmare’ should be given the nod to fight Tyson Fury on Dec 5. Similar in height to Joshua and Wilder, Helenius comes off the back of a good win over contender Adam Kownacki earlier this year and would be a credible opponent.

Why not? Half of NSB was claiming that Fury was ducking Whyte

Tyson Fury will fight another tomato can. And his fans will support it. Bringing boxing down even further. Wash, rinse, repeat

Hunter will beat the crap out of most heavyweights.

People keep saying he's small but nobody wants to MAN UP and fight him.

If Hunter works the body early in the fight and then aim for the head he has a solid chance to upset Fury as long his stamina don't fades late in the fight.

Helenius would be good, but he still brings real danger with both hands and Fury obviously just wants a public sparring exhibition. - A lot of "boxing fans" still seem to think Povetkin is no good, but he´s been a top ten HW for over a decade, he still gave AJ a hard six rds and KTFOd Whyte. Not bad for a "small" dude.

I think Fury just has too much for Hunter to overcome in being a really big man that knows how to use that size. I think it would be a repeat of Usyk versus Hunter except that Fury could possibly get the stoppage. Also Fury is looking for a soft touch at the moment because should Joshua get past Pulev then the main showdown occurs.

That said, I would not be opposed to a Usyk and Hunter rematch at heavyweight should Usyk get past Chisora. It would help Usyk add to his HW resume and vixe versa.

In the meantime Hunter should probably have a crack at either a Andy Ruiz or Helenius to solidify himself as a title contender.

Hunter is a decent fighter and deserves an opportunity against one of the divisional leaders. Can't knock him for trying to get his name into the discussion.

Hunter or Rivas would be better. But it’s an optional defense during Covid with limited attendance. So expecting a fringe name
