Clegg's got that right, Mayweather, Davis, or both of them spent years avoiding Lomachenko. Which made Davis look weak, and unsure of himself. Now it looks like they're going to avoid Lopez, which is making Davis look scared this time around. Mayweather is stunting Davis' potential, and will ultimately cost Davis millions in fights that he could've made for him.

I don’t call guys ducks for not moving up from their weight class to fight bigger guys.

I get that this is a grey area for Davis because he’s come in overweight before. If he makes 130 this week, I still consider him a 130lber. No issue with him wanting to fight 1 real lightweight before challenging Lopez.

The issue is that he knows that Lopez wants to move up soon because he is struggling to make weight, therefore he knows if he doesn't fight him next he might never get the chance.

I get it. But if he can still make 130 and hes fighting for titles at 130 then he’s a 130lber. And IMO you can’t duck a fighter in a division above you.

But much respect to the duck stance too. I just don’t agree.
