Floyd knows Teo is moving up to 140 soon. So he’s just stalling. Let tank fight a bum after this while Teo moves up then Floyd say sorry we want the fight but he moved up.

Yeah tbh I don't see that as a good matchup for tank. Not sure who can beat Lopez now; possibly Lomachenko in a rematch but it seems a tall order. I wouldn't bet on it.

Tank ain’t facing Teo and I agree I don’t see anyone at 135-140 beating him.

It would be the first time Davis has fought anyone his size

And possibly a good match up for Davis as I think they avoided Lomachenko because they know movement gives Davis issues but Lopez will stand his ground

They think Teo’s gonna wait for them forever. Teo’s gonna be moving to 140. They should grow some balls and fight Loma.

Is the time now yet right? Not yet ripe enough for picking?

We have to see Tank deal with real adversity first before these big fights at 135 since he won't have the significant advantages he's had at 130 lbs. Him moving up to 135 is not just him naturally outgrowing 130, it's him getting fat between fights and being unhealthy. It's what they call a blown up 130 pounder. His power is NOT going to bail him out against most top guys at 135 so he's probably gonna have to fight hard 12 rounds against most of them and he still hasn't shown that he can do that and come out on top. Neither him nor Haney nor Garcia did either to be exact. So Lopez is the only proven guy out there and should be favored against all of them until they prove otherwise.

I think Tank's team know that and they're going to wait until Teo moves up to avoid that fight. Their cash cow losing to anyone let alone top rank is their worst case scenario.

What is Floyd waiting for? Did a crippled old man put doubt in his mind? "If, hopefully, after TBA," that isn't confident talk. Remember Ashley, last I heard of him, he was fighting in Mexico, and Broner can't ride in the limo no mo. I've seen several of Floyd's touts get put in deEP, but Tank is going from mountains to mole hills. Is Floyd going soft? This new found tenderness is so touching, I got to pull out my hanky. Honk.

I understand why they would want one more fight at 140 before Teo. Tank has fought only once at 135 and he missed weight and didn't look that great against an old and injured Gambao.

So he might need a fight at 135 to properly acclimate to the weight.

Having said that however, I don’t blame anyone who calls it a duck. Teo is also struggling to keep his weight down and has repeatedly expressed his intention to move up soon, same as Haney.

If Tank don't fight none of these guys then it is a duck.

Only acceptible fight I'd say is if he fights Garcia after he beats Campbell.

Garcia has repeatedly said that he wants the Tank fight next.

If Garcia takes and Golden Boy come to the negotiation table, and tank takes that fight, then it will be acceptible.

Still, it aint a good look no matter who else you fight if you could have fought the undisputed champ with an asterisk and chose to fight someone else.
