The reason the Cotto fight didnt happen was because the contract Golden Boy offered stipulated that if Spence took the fight then Spence would be liable to a three fight deal with Golden Boy.

Basically, Golden Boy were trying to snatch Spence from PBC.

I am totally satisfied with his opponents. He is no cherry picker and on the contrary is fighting the best overall opponents of any champion in any weight class. Mikey was a pfp guy and a champion at both 135 and 140 and had never lost a fight. He had a one sided win over Broner. Spence did not call Mikey out. Mikey called him out and he said yes.If he had turned Mikey down Mikey fans would have called it a duck. Next up is another champion tough Porter. Now he fights top 5 contender Garcia. If you are looking for a cherry picking champion try Crawford, Andrade or Saunders or many others. It sure as hell is not Spence.

After his accident coming back to fight Danny isn't a cherry pick in any way, shape or form. Danny is a high 2nd tier guy & hasn't loss without some dispute yet (Thurman was a split dec L & vs Porter he had two close 7-5 cards).

If Errol isn't the same guy he likely loses & if Errol is still the same guy it's still a competitive night.
