Comments Thread For: Andy Ruiz Will Bounce Back, Says Confident Trainer

He's too heavy a ball to bounce. More like the ring will crumble under him if he falls.

Nobody will forgive him for the overweight mess he appeared as in Joshua 2

He has the ability to literally “bounce” hahahahhaha. But in all seriousness he has some serious skills, hopefully Reynoso doesn’t approach it By trying to emulate Canelo, as he appears to be doing with everyone else to lackluster results.

I mean I wouldn't bet on Ruiz not having seen his best day already but if anyone gets him to higher ground it's the Reynoso's.

It's so regrettable that after his greatest win, he decide to stuff himself like a Thanksgiving Turkey. He has would've had an excellent chance of beating Anthony Joshua in the rematch, with his deceiving hand speed, and power. If he had won the rematch, he would've landed another mega fight, or two. I don't think he would've been a long reining world champion. His lack of height, reach, coupled with his weight problems would've caught up to him sooner, or later. That said Andy Ruiz is a very good boxer, puncher, and has a very strong chin. I actually was astonished when he stopped Anthony Joshua, in Madison Square Garden. He became the first Mexican to win the Heavyweight Title of the world, only to turn out to be a bust. I was in the audience, and the atmosphere was was electric, it's an experience that I wont soon forget. I got the opportunity to talk with some British boxing fan's who had flown over to see their hero fight live. They were as astonished as I was to see Anthony Joshua first drop Andy Ruiz heavily, only to be dropped, and stopped himself. It looks as though Ruiz has lost some considerable amount of weight. Which is a good thing for his professional boxing career, and for his health as well. He'll win some more fights, but I don't think he'll ever win back the Heavyweight Title of the world again.
