And lately Mike Tyson began training for an exhibition for charity, with Roy Jones eventually agreeing to partner with him. I don't recall Mayweather doing anything you might call an exhibition. I don't think you mean that little $10 mill "entertainment" with the junior flyweight Japanese. So why should anything be owed to him. He already thinks the whole world owes the creation of boxing to him.
Have you watched any of the Julio Cesar Chavez and Jorge Arce exhibitions though? It's like rock 'em sock 'em robots with headgear on and no respect for the ref or bell. In their first exhibition bout the ref is taking some light bodyshots that seem intentional and then Chavez pushes him away after. It's hard not to laugh at how ridiculous it is, it almost seems staged. In the second one, the ref get's dropped

Queued up to the ref getting knocked down haha

Now all the geezers are coming out of the woodwork to fight exhibitions? I don’t know about you guys, but I want to see prime athletes at their best. These guys are legends; let’s leave it at that. Not interested in watching the ghosts of great fighters.

Obviously all arranged for entertainment purposes only. And that's what it supplied. And that thy did and are doing it again, shows it was desirable by the crowd. Why should anyone going to an exhibition expect to see "real fight" intensity between truly aged warriors of the distant past...??

I've seen ancient "exhibitions" on very early film clips where he comes out from behind a curtain and falls on the "villain" squashing him flat. .That was entertainment too.

Ha! He also invented being a whiny millionaire who needs people to blow him every day. But when you’re not TBE like Menayothin, I see how he could be angered.

Nooooo, we don't need anymore of these. Geez. I know it means nothing against their legacy but at this point, it's rough to see how a human performs when they're not at their peak powers. Like, I'd rather just not know, lol.

Erik still has a score to settle. They may call it exhibition, Erik calls it, REVENGE! La Venganza! Aaaaay! Yai! yai! yaaiiiiiii!!!!!!

I got it and thank you. I've had to contact the management to see if I can extend my private message capacity which is nearly full, although I deleted many good posts I wanted to keep. I'm waiting to hear from them...I'll be in touch.

The above post seems to have loat a part of it's content. I originally wrote that I saw Fatty Langtry, an old time very fat boxer, do the falling and squashing the guy flat. But it seems to have become lost. If you look up Fatty, you'll see a stomach on him that would make two of butterbean. How he was able to move around I do not know.

you've hit right at it. If he could get rid of that little guy he's be delighted.

I recall when I used to watch wrestling, and guys like Nature Boy Buddy Rogers, and Haystack Calhoun, they ALWAYS rolled on the ref, who deliberately would not see a pin, and be scratching his head of something.. anything but look at the "fight"...All arranged, they had "schools" where they trained together all the moves, like actors.. which is really what they were.

I knew a guy who was just starting, when I lived in New Westminster, he told me all about it. I saw his performances and the painful way in which one guy would wait with his arm in a loop for the other guy to put his head into it, was awful.
