It has to be smart pressure though. We know Usyk can handily pick off guys when they come to him, even much bigger men like Joe Joyce, so a little bit of ducking and diving needs to be employed to get inside and hopefully trap Usyk on the ropes and then Del Boy has to use his weight to grind him down. As Tony Bellew might say, I hope Chisora can take Usyk to places he's never been, even if he loses.

Usyk/Joyce is always a false comparison - Joyce was a comparative novice and that fight was an amateur fight. David Price beat Fury in the amateurs. Would he now?

Chisora is much harder to hit clean than Joyce with the style he has now. And Usyk doesn't hit that hard at HW (going by the Witherspoon fight) so this is a real test for Usyk.

I think Pov would KO him. But I think Chisora's current style suits him much better in general. He's much more of a handful now for the top fighters.

I don't think it's that terrible an example because Usyk vs Joyce was no headguards and tbh I don't think Joe does anything much different now. He still plods forward with very little head movement throwing his slow-mo hammers. Chisora IS harder to hit clean but again he's not really too different from when he fought another handy boxer in Fury who picked him off with ease. I'm saying normal Chisora might not be enough to get the job done but he and Haye may well be adding something to his attacks. I think that would be wise.
