I tend to think that Brook will do better because he's highly motivated and durable. For example, I think that Brook would have taken the five minutes and continued if he were in Amir Khan's position when he fought Crawford.

Better than losing every round and then quitting for no good reason? Yes, Brook should do a little better than Khan and maybe win a round but he still ends up getting kOed within 8 rounds.

Brook have always wanted to fight Khan.
But Khan was not interested. He wanted Mayweather or Pac.
Since he couldn't get them, he settled for Crawford.
"Why don't you fight me, you idiot?" thought Brook while scratching his head.

So now Brook is competing with Khan by way of fighting
the types of fights Khan fought and wanted.
