Bob "Captain Obvious" Arum up in this b^tch.

No one thinks boxing can't capture the public's attention. People think boxing can't get it's sh^t together enough to make the fights that reaches the public's attention enough is the actual issue.

I think boxing could be doing a Loma vs Teo caliber fight monthly if not more frequently. And I think Arum (among other promoters) would be butt naked rolling in money after awhile if he did that. But these mfers would rather not risk the status quo cuz the status quo doesn't exactly suck for them.

Very true I don’t think 1 a month will work like your said the risk but at least 2 a year I be happy 😃

It didn’t start at midnight it started around 8:30 pm here in west coast time which is what they always cater to.

Hagler Hearns was Top Rank. Thats just for starters. Don King in that era did put on the best cards though

Duran vs Leonard was King and Arum co promotion I think. Arum and King have always been about dead even neck and neck.

TR grooms and builds fighters, definitely great at it but c'mon man, they wouldn't risk one of their top guys losing to someone who is not contracted to TR. Especially losing a title to a rival promotional outfit. Imo this is why Pac would get robbed when his contact was expiring

What make you think King was Bad, the press who worked with other promoters he is no different than any of the rest even Barry Hearn took his fighter to court for leaving and left WBO Champion Steve Robinson bankrupt and then resign so he could pay off the debt. `I could name several like this

Arum has never blocked a single superfight in six decades. Not one.
