Lopez calling out a 42 year old retired Mayweather is not good PR at this time. Any current boxing champion could call Mayweather out now but they stopped calling him out years ago because of his age and the years he has been retired. It is no longer good PR.

Floyd is still in business. Floyd is ducking Pacquiao but also begging McGregor for a rematch. Floyd is also considering fighting the Japanese patsy. So since Floyd is keeping his name in the mix, he runs the risk of being called out by the young lions.

It's actually a very interesting fight. If Lopez is game for it, Floyd, if he was a real fighter and not a protected fraud and self confessed coward, should take the risk.
