It’s like Haney just wins but no frills, plain jane, LOL! He doesn’t have that charisma, flare, excitement like fighters that become box office. Or a fighter that brings in the casual boxing fan. Their is an air of excitement around with Lopez, Tank, & Garcia.

Like if all (4) were on your TV screen at the same time, which order would you watch them. Me personally, flip either Tank or Lopez 1sr, then Garcia, then Haney, LOL!

What's interesting to me is the rest of the division seems empty. Everyone talks about these young boxers. Why is no one paying attention to the rest of the lightweights?

So Ryan Garcia is worthy of a shot, in spite the fact that hes only participating in a WBC lightweight title eliminator against Luke Campbell, but the actual champion, Devin the 'Dream' Haney is not a 'Big' fight?

The cause for this backward-thinking and political manipulation is due to that overraed-Euro-Bum, Vasily Lomachenko. Mandatories, are sometimes a good thing, in this instance it certainly would be. Unfortunately, the 'Franchise' champ does not have such obligations.

I just hope that Teo, who's been vocal about his questionable 'undisputed' title, will not hide behind the benefits of the title in question ( Franchise belt ). Lopez just spoke against Gervonta Davis for facing a proven multi-weight champion in Leo Santa Cruz, so I think that he would be contradicting himself by fighting a unproven-scrub in Ryan Garcia, over the actual WBC lightweight champ.

Lopez senior has said that they are about moving forward not backwards, if they fight a contender for the WBC lightweight title, over the real-champ, thats two-steps backwards.

Your whole argument is moot because Devin Haney has NOT fought better competition than Ryan Garcia and if Garcia beats Campbell, he is definitely a more suitable opponent for Lopez than Haney. GTFOH with that BS. You don't even believe that garbage. As Arum said, he also isn't as big a draw as Garcia or Davis. Although that shouldn't dictate whether a fight happens or not, money is always a factor. There are much more viable options for Lopez. Just like Robert Garcia said, Haney doesn't really want Lopez right now and neither does Ryan Garcia. Do you hear them calling out Teo? Who did Haney fight again for his totally legitimate world title? I rest my case.

Haney is no threat to Lopez right now. He's proved he has talent and potential, nothing on a high stage. Plus, he's not a draw. Garcia and Tank are both with different promoters but those are the fights they want at 135 and both would bring more interest than Haney. Tank has fought better competition so has Garcia, especially if he beats Campbell.

This is why I wish boxing would really get a commission kind of based on the transnational boxing board and let them order the fights and have those fights go to purse bid. The promoter shouldn't have so much control and say so. Let them do what their name says and just promote and sell the fight not control and manage

You can count paper titles if you want but Lopez holds all the legitimate titles plain n simple.

Haney needs to worry about fighting a legit opponent.

Good point. I don't care for website rankings or belts, but you have a point.

You know what's so frustrating? These fights will take so long to happen, if ever.

If Arum and Floyd are not talking about a match up pronto after the Cruz fight, they can screw their greedy asses. I'm not here only to support your deep pockets. Either make the fights we want or **** off.

Ryan & Devin are both potential big fights right now. And Devin is the more compelling fight til we see what Ryan can do vs Luke.

Tank vs Teo is the only big fight that could happen next at 135.

Here's where people confuse fact for opinion. The fact is that Loma dropped that belt. It's of your opinion regarding the reason and motivation for doing so. Did you talk to Loma's team at some point and were told personal details ? Because what was reported and what was consistent with Loma's plan all along, is that he wanted the IBF Title.

Look, when someone wants all 4 belts, which is considered UNDISPUTED CHAMPION, they can only fight one guy at a time. If the IBF would have offered some type of "Franchise Belt", then maybe Loma would have taken that and fought Haney. But no, WBC came up with this which enabled Loma to go after Undisputed.
Loma was "afraid of and consciously navigated to, avoid Devin Haney" ? Do you hear how that sounds ? His goal for years publically has been to unify all the titles. He wanted the IBF belt, then Tank, then Haney , then maybe Garcia. Who are we to determine the order ?
That's how they got it to work out, the IBF first. Trying to get into someone else's head, that you've never personally met, is a moot cause. Any determination on why a fighter goes a certain direction, is purely speculation/opinion, NOT facts. If Loma came out and publically announced that he preferred LOPEZ before Haney, THEN we could say, "It's fact that he said that" - Since he didn't say that, to say otherwise is not only calling the guy a coward but a liar and/or bullshit artist. Which again, would just be an OPINION and not a fact.

I know you are an intelligent person. At least that's my opinion based on what I've seen. You know the difference between facts and speculations, I know you do. - - & BTW there is not a thing wrong with having your said speculations. You are totally entitled and I can respect yours. But I personally cannot find in print where it's reported that Loma said the reason he dropped the WBC super title was that he was afraid of and avoiding Mr. Devin Haney.

I submit all this with no desire other than to see good fights. I would loooove to see Loma or Lopez vs Haney. I also understand that the "champs" can only fight one guy at a time, so their team must come up with an approach. Agreed ????
