Being such a lousy washed up fighter who was once very good and still has name value is working out well for Brook now. He was just the cherry pick Crawford was looking for just like washed up Khan. So Brook will get a nice payday to get his ass kicked by Crawford. Then if Khan ever gets his courage up Brook and Khan could fight and Brook could retire on another nice paying fight he would actually most likely win.
